Some questions about the game
Hello! I just bought this game today, and I love it! After completing the tutorial I went into the free building mode, and there are some things I just cannot figure out. I was hoping someone here could help me, as google is no good either.

So what I'm wondering is:

Giraffes need minerals, but they wont lick the mineral stones, is there another option?

Some animals need to swim, but how do you build them somewhere to swim without having any lakes/rivers on the map? I tried to use the water tool, but it's super deep, and even though I made a path up, the animals wont swim there because the water is too shallow.

Thanks for any help!

Try selling your giraffes and then re-buy. I think It's a slight bug with the game. I had problems getting them to eat from the tall grass/leave baskets.

As for the water - You need to make the water super deep, and then select the 'level' terrain build option. It's the square with the red/green hills. It basically levels it all out so your animals can swim in it.

I had the same problem, but using the 'level' terrain option worked wonders.

Is this better or worse than Wildlife Park 2? I am planning on buying this but, is it worth it? Should I get this game, Wildlife Park 2, Depth, or Ark??? I don't know which one to pick.

I have neither Depth, nor Ark, so which ever you fancy I guess?

Maybe you should wait until the sale this December? You could buy all 3 for cheap prices?

Especially big animals need much free space around the devices they interact with. Otherwise they cant find a path to the device. To build swim bassins for big animals you can use the water tool but maybe you need to terraform with another tool to more lower the ground under the watersurface. And its important to avoid strong slopes at the water borders. Many animals cant navigate on strong slopes. Use the terrain smoothing tools to avoid hard slopes.
