Ecosystem in WLP3 ... this doesnt make sense

So i always played both ZT and WLP enjoying both playstyles. Since ZT kinda stopped coming and the graphics of WLP3 are better in every way i stopped playing ZT.
I really like the concept of WLP3, the possibilities you get ingame, the graphics and most game mechanics ... sadly there are a few things i noticed that limit your possibilities a little.

While keeping herbivores around without feeding them is pretty easy as long as you've got the right plants that offer them what they need, freely roaming carnivores are going to die. Always. The are able to more or less "bully" herbivores, but they only manage to scratch their prey eventually. Since a little scratch is considered an illness ingame the attacked herbivore is going to die after what feels like ages, but untill that happens all carnivores are long dead.

So even though i know that its not exactly a wildlife simulation i think these basic things should be possible. Carnivores should be able to hunt herbivores effectively and all animals should be able to recover from minor injuries/illnesses without a vet healing them. Dying from a little scratch at a chance of 100% is ... ridiculous.

Yeah I totally agree with you. I also like creating wildlife ecosystems like what you're describing.

OMG THIS. I was just trying to play a park like this and it wasn't working.... almost kills the game for me tbh :(

You can make carnivores kill their prey by going to the game files
Program Files (86x)>Steam>steamapps>common>Wildlife Park 3>init>disease>cut
Open "cut" file with notepad and edit this line:
scaleneedrest
and edit it to
scaleneedrest=3000

yeah, i know that i technically can do that .... im just saying it should be a feature in the actual game, not something i have to change afterwards
