Can't find corn seed, help

I cleared the garden and was told to find wild corn. I found some yellow grass, and single wheat plants. I can't interact with neither

I also haven't found corn, nor anything similar... Is this intended, like a end of demo thing?
Or am I just missing it?

You are probably missing it, theres a specific corn-like plant, a bit tall growing in the wild that you need to collect. Mines were front of my tabern.

You can change priority quest for this with corn and it will show you a close area to corn that you need to find (it's far before the entrance to the tavern)

I just had to wander around for a while before I found them. I think they don't spawn initially and they can spawn anywhere in the available area. They won't be necessarily near the farm area.

There should be quest markers to the needed plants, but there were a couple spare above the needed 3 plants. I found them all on either side of the road leading past the merchant from the front of the Tavern.
