Harvester doesn't work on Windows 10
Ever since I got a new gaming computer, I wanted to replay Harvester again despite windows 10, but it keeps exiting me out and I even tried it with DosBox mode.

Did you ever find a fix and get Harvester running on Win 10? I'm about to purchase it and I may wait. Thanks for any response you may have. Best.

I would like to know as well. I have no idea why so many games are not running on Windows 10. Is there no way to revert or to get a Windows 7 or what ever again? Or is Steam working on an actual fix? Even if the game was on sale for 1 cent there would be no point in buying it if we can never get it to work properly if at all.

You might need something else installed. It works fine for me on Windows 10. I just ran it a few minutes to make sure.

I don't know which one to install in order to make it work.

Have you tried going to your game list and then right click on Harvester and then click on properties. When the box pops up go to local files and then verify integrity of game files. That will check your files and download anyhting that is missing or corrupt.

Harvester has always worked for me on W10. My question was more of a general one, encompassing most older games with newer hardware being sold through Steam, but giving many gamers grief. However for me when a video on Harvester either begins or ends, there are like nine tiny TV screens like the Brady Bunch that pop up and then the video plays like normal full screen. Is that normal for everyone now? Was it normal back then as well? Or is something wrong on my end or simply it is W10? The game is so campy maybe that is normal... ^_^

Yeah idk what it is man!! I completed the game. Then tried playing the next day and it brings me to the beginning like normal but then immediately prompts me to enter a password. Whether I put one in or not, it crashes the game. So much so that it starts crashing before I even load the game now. And this is with uninstalling and reinstalling I cant tell you how many times. I wish I knew wtf was going on.
