Collector's Edition on Steam?

How does this work? Is it digital? The store page lists the contents of the collector's Edition and we can order it off steam but the Collector's Edition is a bunch of physical stuff... is Valve shipping us a Collector's Edition if we pay or something?

What's happening with this?

The Egosoft store is where I originally saw the Collector's Edition and have been following it since they added the final content list for it. There are only 2 variations of the CE, German and English/UK, I don't see what you're trying to get at.

If you look at the details listed under each option it tells you which have a game DVD. All the variants require activation.

The Steam CE is digital only if you look at what it contains...
