Rapporter et problem med oversettelse
This, I totally agree...its unfinished and for $50 they should be ashamed......they arent because they are making money on this turd however
More than a fair review - a little high in my opinion.
It's over Jim. It's to late for this now.
You need to snap out!
They did what they wanted, the damage has been done.
The captain is dead.
This game is dead, Jim.
You hear me? Its dead!
Its dead Jim...
Its dead...
*watches how escorted npc trader bumps into station for 8 more minutes*
Worse than dead...
Its brain is gone...
Theres a new video posted somewhere on the forums on the first page that explains a lot of the problems with the game (not including the bugs) Ive only played a couple of hours before stopping and waiting for the bugs to be fixed but aparently they are only part of the problem.
I feel exactly the same. Egosoft CAN and WILL patch the game to get rid of the bugs and crashes. Yet, even after that, the game's "features" are a mess. These features will have to be reworked and that would just be too much money and time to do. It would make more sense for Egosoft to concentrate on the next expansion.
The game is just horrible and bad. Don't buy it, spend your money on X3 Terran Conflict or Albion Prelude.
Dragon Age 2 had streamlined gamplay ;) That much is true. If that is good lies in the eye of the beholder.
I’ve put in 100 hours hoping to get a station up and running and be a better game for it, but with very little trading and resources to gather, and to come back to the constructor to find it badly damaged by two fighters, as nothing defends itself, nothing repairs itself and it all takes so long.
If the game is fully simulated, like you’re playing and competing with other players in the game, how comes when I cap a ship it takes them 30 seconds to repair their engines and I have to wait around for 20 minutes. What a disappointment. I want micromanagement; I want to compete with the other factions. Not waiting around for ships and stations to be built and repaired.
It can take a whole day to make a station and another day to get it producing, for god’s sake what kind of game is that. It shouldn’t be like real life, its madness.
I do like the look of it though. Shame.
I don't think they are corrupt, but sometimes the way things go in games publications is functionally the same from the perspective of readers. I think it has been the same since the days of Your Sinclair and C= Format. :)
Who pays for the advertising? How objective is your reviewer (who will sometimes be an apex gaming enthusiast) given the thrill of access to the games, the merchandise, the big stars who make the games? etc. How many of the problems of the game did they ignore because they were they assured would be gone for release (reviewers do have to review "as if the bugs have been fixed for release" - an occupational hazard of getting reviews done before release).
We've all enjoyed a 65 per cent game once in a while, even one set in four repeated maps for 100 hours+ (or worse!) will have people who love it - I'm a great believer in seeing whether games are a fit for you anyway, despite reviews, I mean look how many individuals would give Terran Confict a terrible score for enjoyment.
With that said, and bearing opinion in mind as you say, I think a few DA2 reviews were enormously questionable for taking the game into the high 80s and 90s, you only had to play it, see the execution, gameplay and locations, to see that even if you loved it.
Declaration: I abhored the game myself.
If you need their reviews to justify how good or bad a game is, you're not doing it right.
Now I'm going to fry some liver, because I'm a cook, it's what I do and I like liver. Some of you might feel sick at the thought. Good. Being a PUBE is backwards.
I have just seen the last thread on this topic. lol, out of date. I am talking about X rebirth 4.3 if someone is still hanging on.
Of course, X Rebirth still has its weaknesses and things I dislike, such as the fact that you can only control one ship, but overall its strengths clearly outweigh them for me.
If you're looking for a space game with very good graphics and a lively immersive game world that is committed to the X principles of Trade, Fight, Build and Think and provides these to the player in an evenly balanced way, you'll have a lot of fun with X Rebirth.
