Stuck on boarding mission, aquiring 8 marines...

I've seriously given this game a honest run for it's money, but now i'm stuck on another mission where you need to aquire 8 marines for a boarding mission. I've aquired 8 marines several times in a row and the game doesn't seem to notice that they have been obtained. Because of this, i'm completely stuck in the campaign/tutorial and cannot progress forward at all. If anybody is aware of a fix for this please let me know before I just perform a chargeback via paypal for this train wreck of a game. :/

P.S. EGO_zav, if you're reading this, your team had several YEARS to get this came correct, and clearly nobody did any sort of beta testing what so ever. You should be ashamed that the Egosoft team did such a horrible job with what was to be a promissing refresher to a rather stale/stagnant section of the gaming industry. What really gets me mad, is that this honestly seems like a BETA, and I didn't purchase the game to play as a BETA tester. I purchased the game to play a (mostly) working version. If there was notification that this was going to be a beta, then I wouldn't be mad at all, and would be glad to help find issues and bugs, but Egosoft basically lied, and for that I will be very careful about future games (if there are any) that Egosoft publishes. Fix your house, because it's in shambles due to this game.

Thanks for the reply, but I've since given up on this game, uninstalled it and am working on getting a refund or credit for it.

I`m stuck too. I started a thread somewhere but can`t find it. I`ve done the boarding bit, when I get to the bit I have to talk to the enginneer and he asks are we ready to jump. I says `yes` and it doesn`t jump.

8 marines is not anough you need more 8 is the minimum you need to diable the top 2 guns and olmost destroy the engines Before you start boarding there is a guide on you tube 4 this

olso your marine officer must have a high star rating so at least 4 in BOARDING
please read some guides this is not a battlefield game where everything gets explaind 4 you need to learn and discover how things work

I`ve seen the guide. I have followed the mission guidelines by going through the story, I have captured the ship. My captain is on board, and the you tube guide shows you need to follow the story guideline my `talking to` the enginneer, then you go into `jump`. I`ve done this, nothing is happening.

Man, what a thick stupid game. Its a good job I made a backup. When I flew to HDA Construction Vessel during the story, the game told me to board that, blow up the bits and bobs, and hack this and that, turns out I destroyed the ship that I was supposed to `dock` at and jump with. I only found this out when doing that part of the mission again.

When it's part of the tutorial/campaign, then perhaps it should have been explained...

from what i recall from that mission wsa u need a marrine officer or something to command them. Then after that mission you'll need to start hacking save game files in order to proceed. (or like me, play something else)

Well, I managed it, but boarding the Taranis is hard. You need more marines, and you need really good shields to put up with enemy drones, and lots of missles too.
