28 on metacritic

The meta user score was offset by stockholm syndrome 10 ratings. Honestly I think 1/4 finished is about right and reflects accurately what perspective buyers can expect from this title.

Game deserves every bit of it.....untested game, worst optimization in history of games, WARZ was better, patches are thrown out making it look as they are doing something but as if they didnt learn from not testing the game properly before, patches are untested and causing more grief and more problems and without fixing the issues they address.Thanks egosoft for making a horrid game and destroying my beloved X series......

28 is not harsh. One critic review says the game is currently 'not fit for sale'.

How do you even give a score to a game that is so broken that it is 'not fit for sale'?

graphics are great, but the gameplay is borked, performance is bad, trading is ruined, the menu interface is overly complicated, ai is weird and your fleet doesn't do what you tell it to do.

the metacritics is right. If I were to rate it, I'd give it 2/5 stars. too many cons, not enough pros.

The whole game is one big con and lets face it, they've conned alot of people out of their money.
