Make sure you placed the folder "NESA" in your extensions root... first time I did it, I unpacked the rar, and placed the unpack folder there, but you have to go one folder level down and just put the "NESA" folder there.
Other than that, works a charm for me, and yes you should review the config file to set the operational ranges you want.
You did create the directory called extensions and put the nexus folder within that directory right?
ok, so let me get this straight... it's ...->...->..._>extensions->nexus-NESA?
I didn't include the nexus folder and their on according to the extension list in game.
As I said it is "....extensions/NESA"
When you download the mod, you will see an NESA folder. Move that folder directly into the extensions folder.
LOL dumbass
I use the following mods just to make this game worth playing!
http://xrebirth.nexusmods.com/mods/80/ (means I can READ the detailed monitor)
http://xrebirth.nexusmods.com/mods/30/ (shut up, removes a lot of stupid dialogue)
http://xrebirth.nexusmods.com/mods/40/ (Just removes the press space warning)
http://xrebirth.nexusmods.com/mods/25/ (Cleans up the cockpit)
http://xrebirth.nexusmods.com/mods/108/ (Replaces old faces with young)
http://xrebirth.nexusmods.com/mods/151/ (No crates, why can I carry that much cargo!)
http://xrebirth.nexusmods.com/mods/59/ (Allows you to tell a ship to stop and not follow)
http://xrebirth.nexusmods.com/mods/133/ (You fleet now tells you what they are doing!)
http://xrebirth.nexusmods.com/mods/139/ (Warning when your other ships get attacked)
http://xrebirth.nexusmods.com/mods/119/ (Better scanning without going nuts)
http://xrebirth.nexusmods.com/mods/18/ (Never have to enter a station)
http://xrebirth.nexusmods.com/mods/125/ (lets you find who is attacking you faster)
http://xrebirth.nexusmods.com/mods/36/ (Makes the highways better, see more)
http://xrebirth.nexusmods.com/mods/72/ (Makes the highways better, no fake ships)
Without mods, I would delete this game
Natjur, if you put a wrong folder in the extensions folder, the game still detects it and lists it as a functioning "ON" mod... so be careful not to mislead here by telling him that since it's in his list it's "installed right". That's actually not true.
The correct answer is that if he copied the correct folder (NESA) and all subfolders/files of it, into the extensions folder (NESA), and that shows up as "ON" in the extensions list, then it's probably installed right.
LOL I know right? It would be easier to list what isn't broken in this game, than what is.
