Capital Ships Through Jump Gates

Is there any possible way to get your capital ships from say the Albion to Devries system? If so how or do I need to buy a cap ship for each system?

If you wait long enough the ship will use the jump gate as long as you stay in DeVries long enough. I saw my Rhanas trying to follow me thru it and it took awhile but it eventually went into the gate

I do not have cap ships yet, but cant you dock with it like the cargo ship you get in the begining and use the com to tell that ships captain to take me too [insert location]?

I've tried all that stuff I even use the Manual Command Extension mod to make ships move to my current position or follow me but none of it works. They just sit in the sector doing nothing. I also use the Ignore Jump Drive Fuel mod. Could that be messing with it?

My construction ship is stuck in Albion as well, I use the ignore jump drive fuel mod as well, so maybe there's something wrong with the mod.

The way I managed it was when i got a message saying they didn't have enough fuel to jump there I'd click on the portrait during the dialogue. That opened a menu that gave the option on not using fuel, staying there, or refueling. I chose to refuel, and it took me two refuels to get it to Darned hot Air from Albion. Hope this helps.

I disabled the Ignore Jump Drive Fuel mod and deleted entry in the save about it to load the save without the mod and now my ships say they need fuel I tell them to get the fuel and they jump right on over. After they get the fuel of course. So yes, it is the Ignore Jump Drive Fuel mod.
