Save file after food delivery mission

Since a lot of people end up stuck at this point without any ship capable of transporting food (apparently there are scenarios where you don't get your first freighter back after the boarding mission), here's a save file right after the delivery (current mission is station setup that I still haven't figured out).

Here's the save file[www.putlocker.com]. Save location is X:\Users<name>\Documents\Egosoft\X Rebirth<profile id>\save (make sure to unzip it and put the .xml inside).

Note that I don't recommend starting out with this save if you haven't made it up to this point in your own game though.

update:
Some info from egosoft.com forums: when you get the "We have no fuel to jump" comms message, you have to quickly click the comms monitor (with captain's portrait) - this will bring up a dialog with three choices, the first one being "Buy some fuel first", the second one being "Don't use jump drive"...

yep, its been declared as invasive adware by my antivirus (kaspersky) ... it does download some shady putlocker downloader

its no .zip but an .exe

Don't click any "Download faster with our downloader" crap, just "Continue as free user" and then "Click to download".

you didn't click the right link, it's the one in the middle of the screen. It download a .zip with the quick save inside and this save is working. Thx mate, was about to leave the game after this afternoon trying to understand what i did bad !

the only issue with this is you start with a mission to contruct something and no way of knowing how

Blame the game design, I've been stuck for over 40 minutes now trying to get my Construction Ship fueled. Nobody seems to have any idea how to do that.

i got my construction ship to fly to DeVries without fuel in one of my previous saves when i wanted to deliver the food rations.
... however i dont know how this happened
