X-Rebirth - X-Restart from every new patch.

I just wanted to warn everyone thinking about buying this game. Currently it is so broken that freighters are getting stuck in many systems, and they just keep coming. Some systems has 15-20 freighters sitting and doing nothing while stations all over the place are needing goods.

Then you have freighters owned by the player who... doesn't trade, and has to be reset and orders repeatedly to trade before they actually engage in trading.

And on the official X-R forums, players who has spend hundreds of hours, are getting told to restart their game, throw all their old saves away, and start from nothing, because that "should" fix the issues.

And now Egosoft has stated that will patch on a monthly basis, which means that ONCE everything, all players has to restart their free-play or their campaign, because the patches aren't retro-active and doesn't work that way.

I myself have a free-play with 200+ hours going, and it's a mess. But on the forums i get told to trash my old saves, and start a new. While other players who has done the same, are still having problems with their games.


It's your money, but i would not recommend X-R in its current state.

the most epic battle so far managed to get is to bring all available capital ships around 15-20 units into Xenon core sector right in that cloud sector with stations and order every capital ship attack all enemies by assigning each of them to the own stations defense officer..

and they rip that place apart like a blades .. the problem stations are rebuild after a while

haven't try it out on civilian areas yet .. but this could work too

Hi, i allready told that to other people. If some patch look like not working, and you think you have to restart. Then start a new game (Plot) play until your at the point you get your Rahana. Then save it on a slot you dont need. Load your old game and "Voilà" - patch is working... Have fun :)

Add - This works for sure im playing with my 1. Game since 15.Nov 2013
