Rebuilding DeVries Quest

Hi, im stuck in this quest called "Rebuilding DeVries", it said Build: Integrative URV Forge in Glaring Truth.

So I brought my Construction Vessel to DeVries - Glaring Truth - Fervid Corona. I commed the Architect and "Info About Available Stations". I can see Integrative URV Forge, it says Estimated Initial Cost in Local Economy: 15 728 k. So I commed her again and gave her credits 16 million which should be enough to cover the cost in building this "Integrative URV Forge".

But I can't see any Build options even though I sent her my money. How you do this quest?

You need to find building spot, and double-click at it's location. (CV must be in your squad)
Then select a station for construction.

Hm, where is the building spot? I have tried to move away to empty area on Fervid Corona, bring the CV to my position, I double clicked on my space does nothing, what does a "Building Spot" looks like?

Hi, I've seen this BUG... you need to buy another architect and dispatch her to the CV, it will then give you the appropriate response and option to build. Be assured, it's not your fault and I beleive this one's been resolved in 3.0+

Thank you, that one really helps.
I clicked the build, set max on all upgrades, then she asked me 20 mill. So I sent the rest of funds, and choose so that her to take care of the materials.

Do I need to do anything?

You need to deliver the resources, they are not available in DeVries so the architect won't get them.
You should have your Rahanas EN+CONT back already, so you can use it to buy the resources needed.
Energy can be bought anywhere (Fervid Corona, you've been there).
Bio-optic wiring and Fusion reactors in Albion - Ascendancy - Buried Treasure, Ledda Industrial faction and Beryll scientists.
Reinforced metal is already on board of the station. Don't build ANY extensions once the foundation of the station (which you are building right now), except the URV WHARF upgrade, which is at the bottom of extension list...
Otherwise you won't have enough RPM to complete the plot! You will have to go to Albion, put on your pirate hat, and steal PMC freighters, which can be frustrating.


I don't recommend you adding weapons or shields to your station - they are rather meaningless for that station, and you don't need them to complete the plot. Plus they might be hard to find and buy Albion - Inner World - Distress Reek, Ledda Industrial faction.

Wether or not you buy shields and weaps should depend on if you plan to continue with the campaign game in sandbox once it completes. If you do you'll have much more combat activity and NPC's building stations which is nice but currently broken. In my memory with 2.51 Rievers will attack stations in Glaring truth and they'll just sit there and pound on a section until it's destroyed without defenses wihch will cost you in repairs.

This will take a while to get. Btw,

I can't see that station at Fervid Corona sell energy (I swear it did sell though, but idk) now it just buy food rations, and empty on their sell list

Also I'm getting this annoying bug where you suddenly lost control. The game just wont respond to your
- Keyboard input (enter, F5 quick save, shift S, ) or
- Mouse input (clicked stuffs, does nothing)

All left is to press ESC and quit the game, or if the game wont respond to esc button, ctrl alt del only option. I lost hours of progress due to this random bug that happen.

Running with 2 monitors, left monitor X Rebirth (Windowed), right monitor browser, skype and other stuffs.

The game has a high CPU resource requirement and GFX for that matter as well. Try dialing GFX down to start and don't run anything in the background. There are some zones that can put a heavier demand on performance than others.

Energy, Food Rations, Wheat and Water can be delivered by NPC's in DeVrise if your Architects budget is met. It would be really unusual for the Energy station to be out of energy, that's strange but even still if the architects budget is met they'll come.

Nope, it has nothing to do with performance or anything.
It's a 3.0 bug, cause they did some changes to UI behaviour.

BTW: you don't have to quit the game - just alt-tab out of it, then open it again!
Menu will reset, and you will get control back.


Do you have the trading computer? Or a trade agent aboard the Fervid Corona energy fab?
Because you must:
A) fly manually to the dock which sells energy cells
B) get a trade agent aboard of that station, then open details of station and trade offers to see the offer
C) get a trade computer, move close to the station, and open details of station and trade offers to see the offer

Thank you, I found it, I need to move to the certain part of station, click Briefcase icon and buy directly from there.

Then when I commed my Architect, she already bought herself using the money I gave her.

Btw, I'm now stuck on this quest called "Alliance". it says

With the heart of albion and canteral alliance newly christened, help shore up the defences in DeVries.

With blank objectives, what am I supposed to do?

You have to complete the foundation of URV forge, then built the URV Wharf extension

Hi, my architect needs Fusion Reactors, and I browsed xrdb to check the stations that sell those, all of them are on Albion. At this point Albion is filled with red, how do I get these?

Albion - Ascendancy - Buried treasure, you can buy it from Beryll, they are neutral - unless you did something bad to them

I'm so done with this, I've visited "Buried Treasure", and Visited Ship Tech Fab which should be on Buried Treasure http://www.xrdb.net/en/#!/station/struct_bt_alb_high_energy_construction_macro

I wandered around the stations, I can't see any of them selling Fusion Reactors. I stumbled this video about plundering ships with them

I went there, searched all ships, checked their storage, no single ship carrying Fusion Reactor. I proceed scanning the whole Ascendancy sector, browsed every ships in there and check their storage, I find not even 1 Fusion Reactor.

I don't know if this bugged or not, I'm stuck and can't proceed with my campaign progress, is there a way to cheat my way out of this?
