The AI, by my understanding works on the principle of buy low and sell high. Using the trade restriction setting stops them from trading with anyone else so they will look only to your stations to find trades.

So my question is : what's the rule for assigned ships for selling goods from a station? Because I've the feeling they easily buy goods for productino, but they never sell them (all profit seem to be done with NPC ships trading with my stations)... And before someone ask : yes, I looked at my selling prices and there is a lot of trading deals possible in range. So I'm missing something for about 2 years now... It's not a big issue for me, but I could get a lot more money if the assigned ships could sold some goods!
a savegame would be better but i think a screen will do it for me.
