Unidentified Flying Oject
Anyone know what they are? Are they just in the game for ♥♥♥♥♥ & giggles? I know I can't kill it shot the shields to 0% but hull stays at 100%. Been following it and can barely keep up seems to just be flying around the sector.

You should be able to kill it, I have... It wasn't easy... It wasn't particularly fun... but I did it.

Otherwise, no, they serve no actual purpose that I can tell.

Well they are the Kha'ak, they were around ages ago, in X2 The Threat (hint the threat was the Kaha'ak ;-))

No they are not Kaha'ak, those show up as Unidentifable ships, I've seen them and destroyed them, This is a flying saucer and shows up on the map as a Unidentified Flying Object. Might be cause I found it in Transcend and that mod is not updated.

We have some options.

the ufo is an object in game since, well i do not know when exactly. in x3 if you set a ship to follow it, as long as said ship doesnt perish and can keep up, would eventually map out the galaxy. i had no idea it existed in rebirth but if any indication to past iterations says anything its probably on a set route that, if you had fast enough engines and followed, would probably map out the entire game for you.
