Conquest of Canterra to Molten Archon /issue/.
Built full production chain for my shipyards at Molten Archon (DeVries). And decided to proceed with plot finally.
Now Canterra started building their stations all over the Molten Archon. Thats like zerg rush. Their construction vessels spammed all zones.

First I thought there is no any free spots at sector as I was lacking of spots to build enough stations, so I even occupied some Empty Spaces. But Cantera builds right a few steps beyond my stations at spots that shouldn't be free.
I've checked free spots with "Station Build Service" mod and it shows up to 10 more possible building positions at each zone...

Can I somehow stop Cantera from occupation of my sector? (yep, I consider its my sector, I evolved that space long before Cantera found some metal wreck to defend themselfs from Reivers :beatmeat:).
Aside possible FPS problems new canteran stations often become enemy to my nearest stations cuz of sudden shots that missed pirates. And there is begin neverending fight and reputation loss.

P.S. I have save before plot proceeded, so can revert back if that somehow helps.

as far as i remember the canterans will only build 2 Stations in Molten Archon, one in their Home Sector... plus one HoA Station in Vapor Stream.

Those Stations are tied to special Story Building Spots and, should you get your hand on their CVs, can be a pretty decent resource sink.

and before there comes any confusion... i am answering as a former XR Player... just ignore that yellowish, fancy Janitor Tag.

Not sure I've understood it right. "Story Building Spots" does it mean some fixed by plot spots where Cantera will build some unnecessary stations or cantera builds important stations where, for example, will spawn plot tied NPCs?
Cuz first only means I can destroy CVs safely before they reach building side (hope they wont respawn) as I dont care of any economy at DeVries and also can provide resources from my factories if needed.
But second is something that I cant do anything with.

Also I've checked cantera stations: one of them at Molten Archon is... Shipyard. That why I'm asking if its random stations (cuz as I use your shipyard mod version - CV could simply be lucky enough to catch shipyard from the list)

Base game the Canterran's will only build two stations like eMYNOCK said, if you are seeing more then two stations built it's probably a mod issue and you need to identify which mod is doing it.

Do new canteran stations at Molten Archon involved at plot? Like there will spawn quest tied NPCs or I will be asked transfer wares from or into them or anything similar.

No, those stations are triggered by the plot, but unrelated to the actual story.
thanks

This seems to be related to a mod. The behavior you describe does not happen vanilla in game. Do you maybe use the "Conquest and War in Rebirth" Mod?
Rechecked, all sector was flooded with blue dots on map (sudden npc activity after plot progression I guess). And I was "lucky" to check only 2 zones and both contained new canteran stations. Rest blue dots turned out to be just npc ships (traders/miners and escort invasion all over the sector).
Anyway that stations are too tight close to my stations which cause canterans hostile due to sudden shots. Will try to prevent CVs to reach build point.

Well I play in the sand box..
What I did was, take DVBP and DVMA as mine. ROC has no claims to any zone in DVBP and only one zone in DVMA I think. And since I use war ships to protect them, and ROC has no military restrictions, or need to have license for it, and most of the zones they have no claims to them. I found these sectors most idea for my own station needs. I Share DVBH but build in zones away from their existing stations. And DVGT I leave alone. I have placed no protection anywhere in DVGT for anything. That belongs to ROC, so in game I respect that. The only stations I put up there are what the ROC want me to build only for rep points. because like the main game, you can still get missions like this to do. And I do them in empty Zones only since you can rename the zone.

In respect, the stations are guarded by a Frigate or two, verses my other stations which may have a Destroyer, 2 Frigates and maybe a Torpedo Cruiser. DVBH-UP Zone, Port Kiel has a battle fleet that guards that (Battleship, 2 destroyers, 2 cruisers, 1 Torpedo Cruiser..) The rest of the my battle fleet ships are at DVBP-Scapa Flow Zone, Scapa Flow Battle Command, and I use this to pull warships from as needed. Think I have over 35 sitting here between Battleships, Destroyers, Cruisers, and Torpedo Cruisers(You should see the name list I had to make..). The only war ship I do ride in is the KSB Orion(Battleship) So really this whole rename and placement has worked out great. the ROC I have rep 14+. And I been getting trade offers from other nations since I placed a few battle fleet groups with a Sentinel Station at certain entry locations of my zones in the systems I took, dropping raiding activity.. So build in locations that have nothing. If you fly away from the wormhole highway, you will come across empty zones, and you can rename them too.

It is how I been doing it, and it has been working great for me.
