Winning back Plutarch's trust
Is there a "legit" way (no save data modification) to regain positive standing with Plutarch ?

I'm in deep red relation with them (finished the campaign and gave them some retaliation after having lost multiple traders roaming near their stations) I'm at -27 standings.

Looking for missions in Albion, sometimes grants me 1 mines clearing mission for Plutarch.

Is there a better/faster way for earning their trust back ? at least a neutral standing would suffice for my traders to fly freely on their lands.

I tried to wipe out their defense platforms, but they rebuild them super quickly.

There are three ways to gain reputation with a faction. help them with missions, talk to their members on board stations and kill pirates close to their stations saving them.
Even though a -27 reputation is too hard to fix...
On the other hand why should you? Every game needs a villain and if you have good reputations with all factions (and subsequent discounts), your traders can never find anything to buy or sell

The thing is I'm doing a lot of trades between Devries and Home of Light or Cold Star. Unfortunately the trade route goes through Albion and my ships fly over 2 plutarch stations which have 3 weapons platform that hurt really hard. (Their defense capital ships Tanaris are already rusting and feeling lonely in the cold)

Actually I'm using only my lyramekron she is sturdier but goes bezerk everytime she gets shot :)

The other option, would be to station a fleet on the choke point to destroy the weapons platforms every time they reappear...but that is a bit overkill.

I'd wish there was some kind of diplomacy in the game, one could make a truce for allowing trading routes.

-27 is pretty horrible. Remember the old saying: revenge is a dish best served by another person that can't be traced back to you! ;)

You can try shooting Xenon/pirates that get close to their stations but it's going to be hard, if it's possible at all. You could also do a new game start, this time without the campaign (and maybe with the expansions if you don't have them yet). Money comes in a lot faster when the whole galaxy is opened up and you already know what you're doing.

Let say that I acted like a Klingon rather than a Vulcan :lunar2019grinningpig:

I managed to get my plutarch rep back from about -17 after finishing campaign by taking xenon invasion missions, or patrol missions in Albion. You can get these missions from stations that are not Plutarch, but have Plutarch stations in the same sector.
If you destroy a xenon ship sometimes the PMC station acknowledges you, and your rep climbs pretty fast.
The downside to that one is that if your rep is too low, any PMC ships in the same sector will also start shooting you, and if you shoot back it quickly undoes all your hard work, so best find a sector with very few PMC ships in it, but at least one PMC station, and at least one station from another faction.
Even if you take a protect station mission for the other faction, with any luck the PMC station could acknowledge that you saved them too.
Good luck.

New game is the best solution after campaign. You will be back in the point you are right now much easier and faster.

Serious issue with this game is that you can't blacklist sectors like in X3.
I have no idea why Egosoft gives up good solutions that already were there.

There's zones now, not sectors, and they seem a good bit more fluid. You can create one just by dropping a nav beacon out in the middle of nowhere. Putting restrictions by zone might not be so easy now. (Especially given all horrific bugs they needed to fix after launch.)

Galaxy -> Star Systems -> Sectors -> Zones.
Star systems are in the galaxy, sectors are in star systems, zones are in sectors.

I don't understand what nav beacons you mean.

Blacklisting is easy. Just simple list of zones/sectors/systems to check. If manager wants to send ship to zone/sector/system and it's on the list, then manager does not send ship there but to next best destination. Simple comparing of arrays.

Nav beacons are those little beacons you can buy or find - you're probably selling them all. If you dump one out the hatch out in empty space (presumably near some asteroids) then it will make a zone right there. You should be able to send mining ships to it for extraction.

Sectors and systems would certainly work but zones are shifty things. Maybe they would work, maybe not, or maybe just pre-existing zones would work. Or maybe it would be easier to pick out individual stations.

But really, if you want it badly, the game is quite moddable.
