can stations be destroyed?

i just destroyed every part of the stations with my fleet but my ships keep firing on the station. can the stations be completely destroyed?

Not in Rebirth. If I'm not mistaken, there are some mods that make it possible.

Yes it can Ihave lost a factory , where destroy of Xenon K and Fleet
when you have not build a defence Weaponplatform of your Factory .

I've found that some pirate stations from mods are indestructible, but some vanilla stations, such as way stations, are destructible through mods. You do need quite a lot of firepower though, unless you can knock out the large guns first.

if you just leave the stations after every part has been destroyed will it just repair itself over time?

I wanted to test it out so I saved then cheated the money and baught about 30 arwan ships lol. I broke every part of the station and had about 15 ships left lol. Had them blown up at another station. The first attacked didnt go away it remained there I'm just curious if it will repair itself over time so I can reload and start from the point just before I cheated

this game is really old, should google for answer since someone has already done it. But it must have been fun thou. one day i will build lots of ships just camp enemy station forever.

You can not destroy stations in X Rebirth.

Because mods are not part of the base game, if you have modded the game to be able to destroy stations you can destroy them. But in the base game you can not destroy them.
