Can't start game the second time i try.

Ok, so i just finished HTA with full widescreen resolution, settings at max and everything working perfectly, saving and loading included.

Installed Rise Of Clans, started the game, noticed my widescreen resolution isn't working for some reason, shut the game down, edited the config file manually, started the game and boom, unhandled exception at loading to menu (the very first loading screen when you start the game). Figured it was due to me setting the widescreen resolution and the game simply not wanting to function with it.

Changed the resolution back in the config file, still unhandled exception, figured i might have corrupted something somehow, had steam verify the files, it came up with 3 bad ones and redownloaded them (around 10kb size), game started with no issue, loaded my save with no problem, until i exited the game again and it yet again tossed out an unhandled exception when i tried to play again. Verified again, started perfectly again, exited, went in, unhandled exception.

So is there a fix for this or am i gonna have to do the file check every time i wish to play?

PS: I have read the threads above (the ones related to game crashes) but i can't find the unpacker anywhere online, i get a 404 (not found) on every single link).

You finished the game so maybe you wooped the games butt so bad that it got mad at you and would'nt let you play again lol

Well, found the solution to this one too, it's a ctually a mix of 2 solutions found online :) Don't let the game use anisotropic filtering (use trilinear instead) and rename/delete the "video" folder in data folder of the game. :) Been loading saving and playing on widescreen since that fix with no issue :)
