Bug? Stuck at Miss Valley's apartment:

I am currently in Miss Valley's apartment and there are no more interactive objects in the apartment. I have used the coal on the bare piece of paper and read it and I have also solved the location of the burial side (sector l3, animal bones, land). There is nothing more to do in the apartment but whenever I try to leave he always says "I've definitely overlooked something" and won't let me leave the apartment. I even tried reloading an old save and now I'm stuck again at the exact same spot. I looked up walkthroughs and indeed did everything correctly.

Is this a bug or do I miss something?

nvm I found out this part of the game is indeed bugged. For future people looking this up on google or smth: The game doesn't properly recognize the solution of the underlining in the journal. You have to keep it open without underlining and after a while the skip button/lever will appear at the bottom right corner, click it and then you can progress the game.

side note: This does not happen with the german version (international version bug only).

Thanks for the original help, dubesor! Also, the puzzle-skipping lever won't appear unless you have "additional game help" enabled in the options menu. I spent quite a while clicking and not clicking around, just waiting for the skipping option that never came - that is, not until I decided to browse the menus and found out what the problem was. Fortunately I am now able to venture on!

Hi. I'm also stuck in Valleys apartment. Additional game help was always enabled (right from the start of the game) and yet no skip lever comes up. I even went back to previously saved versions and tried it with and without additional game help. It doesn't register "sector 13" and no way to get the skip lever to appear. Heeeeelp!!!!

Did you wait a few minutes after the minigame started and tried to solve the minigame even if the solution doesn't get registered? The lever isn't present right from the start with activated additional game help. You have to wait a bit and try until the level appears...

Thank you sooo much, Bakhtosh_nar_Kiranka!!! I just tried again and clicked on one word 9 or 10 times before the lever appeared. I think previously I stopped at 8 clicks. Pretty ridiculous. Thanks for helping. :-)
