Even then, the mouse cursor during cutscenes and occasionally at other times will display a short horizontal bar of noise until a mouse action is selected. It is a minor distraction, but still would be nice to fix.
The game overall is extremely good, right up at the top of adventure games for sure along with #1.
However the part where he explains to the residents of the black mirror circle that he is a policeman and they readily buy it was so implausible it broke immersion for me.
Perhaps something could be added to make their belief in his police claims less absurd.
Also if I'm not mistaken the 3 colored staffs seem to fit into the wrong color pedastals near the end of the game. A minor bug.
"I've been giving the door a wide birth since then"
should be "wide berth"
Near the end of the game you can click a little to the left of the right stone door and Darren will clip through the wall. You can see only his legs on the screenshot:
