String text problem
So, since I finished the first BM today I decided to download the next installment, however upon launching the game (note. this is my retail version, but Steam's exactly the same) every subtitled text has a string before them. Probably useful for translators, not for gamers. When I go into the game itself, I cannot hear any sound and pretty much everything is in German.

Did anyone else encounter this? I don't know what to do with it, but it must be something with my PC - it works fine on laptop.

This happens if in the settings file a language was set that isn't included in the version of Black Mirror 2 you're playing.

From the headline of the main menu it looks like the language is set to czech (?)

If you haven't set the language manually I can only think about a demo of the game with this language and that the settings file is still present from the demo installation. Have a look at the subfolder 'BlackMirror2' at the 'Documents'/'My Documents' folder and delete the files 'config.xml' & 'default_config.xml'. If you now start the game again these files should be rewritten with a language setting that is supported.

I shall invade some country, dethrone the current king and crown you instead. It worked, I love you! You're from the developer team I presume? I doubt anyone not associated with the game would know this.

Thank you once again.

Thank you very much! It also worked for me, although I recently did a full rebuild of my computer (incl. re-partitioning) and before that had only played BM1.
