update: manually downloading nvngx_dlss.dll does the trick for now
just put it where the .exe is located
I meant the path tracing in the options. Cant enable it because it also requires you to enable DLSS. Game works great tho, i dont think i ll wait for the DLSS fix
Where is a path tracing option ??
No but personally myself like dlss because it actually can look better with dlss 4 than native and ruin more quite on gpu. But regardless. if it ships with dlss it should have it day one and its not hard to have missed it from the devs. suprised really. just hope they fix soon
Oh i put it in the dlss plugin folder where you supposed to upgrade dlss. so i need to put it in with exe instead then and it works ? ill give it a go
so dlss is broken because devs didnt include it in the game files lol but you can fix it youreself by doing this...
google :"nvngx_dlss.dll"
grab NVIDIA DLSS DLL 310.2 from any safe site (i used techpowerup and it was a 46mb .dll file )
then open up your game folder and go search for the folder with "TheMidnightWalk-Win64-Shipping.exe" in it.
drop the nvngx_dlss.dll in that folder ...
Now your dlss works and you can launch from your main exe
BUT ray reconstruction does not work at all which is odd and the game says its not supported despite it being supported on my RTX card.
Any ideas?
