Yeah pretty surprising not to see any reviews day before release.
Just want to make sure the non VR is still good.

Why wouldn't it be? That's a genuine question btw.

flatscreen games have been in development for 50+ years, it's pretty much a perfected medium. I'm far more interested in how the VR support will turn out, It's a platform that is still be experimented and improved on

I am sure you are right, just wanted a review to make sure.

4 hours, even if it's 6 that is not enough to justify $40 imo.
Wow thats disapointing... The guy who created the video said he collected in this 4 hours around 90% of the colletibles...

Doesn't apply if someone got a physical copy by retail. If anyone is at fault it's the retailer delivering it early. But it's pretty common. When you buy a game legit retail you aren't under any embargo.

Well the reviewers probably got permission to do a short review. A random YT channel doing a full play through likely just bought a physical copy that they got early.

Twitch has a policy in TOS that you can't stream a game before release without special permission, but I don't believe YT does. And even on Twitch I've seen people do it who got physical copies early, they only get in trouble if the devs make a complaint about it.

Anyway the point is no laws are broken. A contract could have been broken(embargo) if it was a review copy but it's likely it was just a physical copy they got early.

that channel is in newzealand and he bought it off digital store at least thats what he says and on yt I have seen videos got removed by devs becasue they were playing before release

With 11 hours left, and no real reviews, seems like the length is what they didn't want leaked.

Guess we'll just have to wait for a good sale. Maybe $24.99 might have felt more honest to consumers who learn it's a 4 hour experience.

Amazing how many people think a game needs to be 20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hours long otherwise it has to be 20 dollars or less because "their time is valuable" or some other leech excuse screw supporting any devs with some creativity right.
Meanwhile such people fork out 80-100 for generic slop every year, people seem to be under the impression that making games is cheap

That price point seems fair, forty is just a little steep.
