We're going to clarify some doubts about the nature of NIGHTINGALE, the new game we released two months ago.

HOW MUCH IS NIGHTINGALE RELATED TO SHADOWS ON THE VATICAN?
A lot! Nightingale tells a story set two years before the events of the series. It involves a main character of the series and introduces another one that we'll see in the next episodes. Moreover, some of the storylines introduced in Nightingale will be back in Act III, so playing it provides not only some insights about future events, but also crucial elements to understand some aspects concerning the developments of the series.

HOW LONG DOES NIGHTINGALE LAST?
It is a short experience, lasting about an hour. There are two possible endings, but with just a 'correct' one: success will depend on your ability to deduce or, better, to 'empathize'!

WHY DID YOU DEVELOP NIGHTINGALE?
First of all, we wanted to develop a mini-episode for the fans of the series, which somehow made the wait for Act III less heavy. Then, we desired to temporarily change the genre and do a choice based 'interactive fiction' that explores a character that had already appeared before from a different point of view.
We also allowed ourselves to 'test' some new elements, such as the particular text display, designed to synchronize with the protagonist's thoughts, as if the player is in her head. Even the soundtrack is carefully timed to accompany the reading.

SHOULD I PLAY NIGHTINGALE NOW?
If you already played Act II, absolutely!
