Hi dogma! When does the "Wintermute Engine Runtime" error occur? When you click play game?

Today it works, but the error was when I wanted to start it, yes :)

Hmm, if you experience the error again or you can think of anything that was different between the two times you started it please let us know. Did you update anything for example?

No, nothing.

I had a similar issue where my computer advised me to close wintermute engine runtime from background in order to free up some memory for the computer to function properly. But it was just a warning and the game didnt crash. It kept running fine. I was playing on my laptop which has 4 gb of RAM so maybe that was the issue.

Light Slave what operating system do you use on that laptop?

I just installed Oknytt moments ago and I am on a dual-monitor system with a 2560x1600 display as the main display and a 1920x1200 display on the right. I am running on an AMD FX8350 system with 32GB of RAM, Radeon HD7850 under Windows 7/x64 fully updated, current video drivers etc.

When I launch the game (from the main display) both monitors go black and flicker a bit, then all of my running applications get pushed onto the 2nd monitor for some reason and the game crashes with the forementioned "Wintermute Engine Runtime" error. Nothing else is displayed. Restarting the game multiple times gives the same results. I've verified the game's file cache via Steam options and it checks out ok.

Just as an additional data point, I'm sure this is not a RAM problem (I've got 32GB, well tested), and unlikely to be a hardware problem as I'm able to run games like Witcher 3, and other big name titles without issue. If there is any other information that might help troubleshoot I'd be glad to try things and give feedback.

Tomorrow I'm going to disable the second monitor temporarily and see if it is choking on that perhaps for some reason.
