Does this VN contain nudity? *resolved*
Question answered. Thanks, Quint the Robot Girl!

Original Thread:

TL;DR: Does this VN actually have nudity in it, or was it mis-tagged? (If this seems like a stupid question, see my explanation below.)

Background: I was looking at fault milestone one in the steam store a while back, and, for reasons I don't remember, I decided not to buy it (I think it had something to do with waiting to see if they ever released a "milestone two.")

Fast-forward to today. I was again looking at this game, noting the high ratings, and noting that the next milestone had been released. I was sorely tempted to buy it, as I love a great story and I'm a huge fan of the anime art style. Unfortunately (for me, anyway,) I also noticed that the user-defined tag "nudity" had been assigned to the game.

Now, as I'm not into nudity in video games, I'd normally just move on to the next game. However, I could almost swear that the nudity tag wasn't there when I looked at the game a few months back. Additionally, I recall reading somewhere that there wasn't any sexual content in this game, and there's no nudity tag on the second milestone.

My Question: Is there actually nudity in this VN, or did an erroneous tag get assigned to the game? I've recently seen the latter done to other games, so it wouldn't surprise me, (for example, "Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?" was briefly tagged as an anime game, and a piece of powerpoint software got tagged as "psychological horror.")

Thanks for any replies.

I suspect that it's some anti-anime trolls who did this. Or maybe some dunces who presumed that all VNs have 18+ versions and are mysteriously censored by a vengefully puritanical force. Regardless, it does not apply. As far as I know, this VN is natively all-ages; no 18+ version exists.

Please report that tag, for it is inaccurate.

I'm glad to hear that, as I was really looking forward to giving this VN a try. I'll definitely be checking the game out later this week. Thanks for your help! :)

Actually, I'm pretty sure there needs to be a lot of people adding the tag for it to be considered at all. Which is pretty screwed up.

It might be a proportion of the people who have the game, or have tagged it. Which is actually rather small total number of people since this title has not been discounted much yet. SteamSpy estimates that about 12,000 to 16,000 Steam users have this. Contrast, say, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky, which is estimated to be owned by about 119,000 to 135,000 Steam users, despite having been released just half a year earlier and having a similar discount history (max -50%).

With fewer people messing with the tags, it's easier for strange tags to get brought to the forefront. After that, it's just a matter of other people upvoting them.

Regardless, that tag is now gone -- I just checked.
