What breeds do you want to see in the game?
I would really like to see the four different kinds of belgian shepherd (kind of common in minor races here in scandinavia).

I was a little surprised when there was no Pointer in this game. That's the most common breed if you go to see races here ^^

What breeds and colors do you guys want to see in the game?

Shepards would be nice, any sort, but I prefer german Shepards.
I would also like to see some of these:

Races that are really sleddogs:
Eurohound (european sleddog) / Greenland dog / Kugsha Dog / Samoyed / Seppala Siberian Sleddog / Mackenzie River husky (husky with long, fluffy fur) / Tamaskan Dog (would love these, wolflikedogs)

Races that aren't made for sledding, but would be cool: (labradors and st. bernard aren't made for sledding either, so maybe it's possible to add more nice dogs?!)
Bullterrier (love them!) / pit bull / rottweiler / great dane / doberman / dalmatian / afghan / australian shepard / border collie / bernese mountain dog / bloodhound / collie / corgi ('cuz lul :D) / english setter or english springer spaniel / schipperke or better Groenendael / whippet / Komondor (rastadog^^)

Bet I could add much more, but I'll leave it for now. ;)

I actually heard that they are in progress with a samoyed ;3 Afghan would be awesome!
I'm a huge fan of corgis. They're not sledding dogs, but in my experience with my pet corgi and some friends' corgis, they generally enjoy snow. And they're Spitz-type dogs, and Spitz-type dogs are quite often associated with cold places. So I'd love to see them in the game.

Another breed I'd like to see is the shiba inu, because wow such doge very sled saga.

And some dogs that are associated with sledding are laikas of various breeds: east Siberian laikas, west Siberian laikas, Karelian bear dogs, Samoyeds, and a few others. Speaking of laikas, I'd also love to see a shoutout to Laika the space dog but I doubt that'll happen because she was rather small and was not associated with sledding at all (she was the first dog in space and the first living the to orbit Earth but Sputnik 2 was not a sled). At least give me some dogs named Belka and Strelka. <3

You're right that Saint Bernards and Labrador retrievers aren't bred for sledding. However, they are used for sledding in real life on occasion according to what I've read. :)

I'd love to see Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs and White Swiss Shepherds! I believe they'd work quite well as sledding breeds.

I think any dog that is not a little puffball, ex puddle because it makes no sense! I dont understand why shih poos or shnauzers are in this game... my guess is comedy but I think it kind of ruins the feel of the game when a team of little puffballs beat a 5 team of huskies XD

I think the St. Bernard fits in nicely because it is strong and is suited for winter conditions (and is my most fielded dog) , but I still dont get the lab or the corgi bit XD They arent strong enough and too small to pull a sled

Wolf/Dog breeds, like the Saarloos wolfdog :3 I don't know if it's already in, since I haven't played it yet.. but that would be cool. More wolf like dogs.

Working breeds are pretty good, I own German ShortHaired pointers and just for the record these dogs can pull, they are plenty strong, but i would find it comedic to add them in, and something that would be funny to add in, Prey drive : the dog becomes distracted due to a passing animal(rabbit, bird, fox)

Current breeds and colors in-game: [That I’ve Noticed]

-Husky (White, Brown, Gray)
-Samoyed (White)
-Malamute (Black)
-Labrador (Yellow, Black, Chocolate)
-Schnauzer (Standard Grey?)
-St. Bernard (Brown)
-ShiPoo (White)
-American Eskimo Dog (???) ~ Not sure if I’ve seen this one or not.

~*~*~*

Breeds I'd like added are:

-Saarloos Wolfhound
-German Shepherd
-Bernese Mountain Dog
-Belgian Sheepdog
-Belgian Turvuren
-Tibetan Mastiff
-Newfoundland
-Doberman Pinscher
- Australian Cattle Dog
- Border Collie
-Great Dane
-Karelian Bear Dog
-Greyhound
- Collie (Smooth & Rough)
-Chinook
-Rottweiler
-Pit Bull
-Saluki
-Shiba Inu
-Akita
-Pug (for the hilarity of it all)

These are purely breeds I'm interested in seeing, not breeds that are known for their racing prowess. For example, we have the Shi-Poo and Schnauzer currently in-game which, to be fair, would be of no use in a race in reality. More breeds would make the game more interesting and probably the actual races more fun, as each breed has different inherent strengths and weaknesses.

Also I would like more colors in general for all the dog breeds, both ones currently in the game and future additions. Things like a red and white husky, or an agouti Samoyed or orange & white Saint Bernard. It would help to bring uniqueness to each member of the sled team and (a problem I sometimes have) help their musher distinguish between them all a bit better. The harnesses are already different colors for most dogs of the same breed and color, but more options in general would be nice.

I think that the breeds available should be realistic to the situation, and for that reason I don't like the idea of adding breeds like corgis and pugs (though that'd be hilarious). Also, I don't think Dobermans would be a good fit either—while I love these dogs, they aren't very cold-tolerant or commonly seen in sledding.

Out of personal preference, I don't like shorthaired dogs, i.e Labs, on my team, but I think it'd make sense to add dogs like Eurohounds and Pointers. In terms of more northern breeds, I think it'd be cool to see some of these:
• Chinook
• Greater Swiss Mountain Dog
• Bernese Mountain Dog
• Newfoundlands could definitely prove good sled dogs

I do have my reasons for listing (and not listing) all of these dogs. But I think it'd be interesting to see some of these dogs in-game, I'd add some of them to my team. In terms of color, it would be nice to see some more variety. I'd really like a red husky. I don't have trouble telling my dogs apart though, but I only have 5 dogs and they're each a different color/breed. Also, I think the Prey Drive (mentioned above) would be a really interesting fault to see in game, a realistic one as well.

I would've loved it they added a "summer-expansion" where the dogs would pull a wagon of some sort (after all, mushers train their dogs year round, not just in the winter!). And by adding summer races they could add breeds with shorter fur (like dobermans, dalmations and such) that can tolerate the warmth:) Meybe even add something that makes malamutes and the other winter-dogs slower in the summer, and the short-fur dogs slower in the winter races! So much the devs can do with this game:D

I am pretty sure that this game is set in a area where it snows year round, though that would be a intresting feature to see in it.

I have to say, that's an amazing idea! It would put much more strategy to the game!

I want to see Afghanhounds :3 Since there are Shipoos I don't think it is unreasonable.

Honestly I would like to see more northern breeds. Personally I don't like the idea of having small dogs or dogs that are not meant to pull a sled in game. I would love to see the Greenland dog. :D Those come in different colors, so it would give more options. :D
