Problem Launching?

Hey I just bought the game...I tried to launch it but for some reason it won't play AT ALL. Like It won't even launch. Steam keeps saying: Steam Preparing to Launch ..and then half a second later it crashes. HELP

Just Tried Reinstalling and no dice..still crashing and won't launch. How do you verify files?

left click on the game in your library and then go to properties and then go to local files and it should be there

Found it and its all validated. So I have no frickin idea whats goin on, I tried launching my other games and they're all launching just fine

I'm experiencing the same thing! It used to happen and restarting my computer worked, but it doesn't work now. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, but nothing has worked :(
Just verified it and still no dice. All of my other games work as well. I've played this game before and it's almost always worked fine.

Whether I try to launch it in my steam library or on my desktop, it doesn't work. I see "Preparing to launch Dog Sled Saga" then it disappears and the game doesn't run. On steam, it briefly says
"Running" then goes to "Syncing" then it disappears and acts as if I never tried to run the game at all.

Yeah. What's weird is that I've ran this game before, played it, what, 17 hours? The only thing I did was wipe a lot of stuff from my computer, but my other games work and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling. And verifying too...

After doing a bit of research, an update a while back broke the game for several users. There are some ways to fix this, and while none have worked for me, look through this game's discussions and stuff (I found a lot of helpful things when I clicked 'All') could help. If you get any of those tips to work for you, tell me. I've tried but no matter what I do, the game does not open.

i have a new laptop and just downloaded it and i'm having the same problem

i'm having this problem too, I put the game into full screen mode and it froze, so i had to exit out of it. Now it shows the "preparing to run Dog Sled Saga" thing, the game opens for a second, then crashes and pulls down my computer's brightness??? I've restarted my computer, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, and I've verified the files. Nothing works. All of my other games work just fine..

My friend is having the same issue. We've tried a solution i found on some other forums going through the game files to find dogseldsaga.jar but all we found was a winRAR file that doesn't work. Has anyone got any clues as to how to fix it yet, or are we all still in the dark?

are everyones errors all filled with text repeating "at.org"?
i have the same problem as well... just bought it and crashes immediatly after launch. can anyone link the forums that tell you methods of fixing the game?
