Dog Gone It Achievement

How do you get this achievement?
I already took a dog off my team and didnt get it. :(

I think it will just appear randomly. Did it a long time ago, got it only recently. :)

yea same with me its not getting me that acheivement even though 2 dogs have been pulled off :(

I have the same problem. Took three dogs off my team and didn't get the achievement. I already played 14 hours, one hour of that only to try taking a dog off my team with a second save. It's the last achievement I need but I give up, really disappointed 'cause I would love to complete it 100% :(

same. Wanted to get all the achievements but im still missing this one.

I just did it. When I reached League 7, I've hired new dog and immediately said goodbye to it. It was my second dog i took off.

The devs said once here that the achievement counts if you have dogs in the "rehire" section, so leaving more dogs won't change anything. I still don't have the achievement despite havine a dog in the rehire section, maybe I'll have to try to rehire him then leave him again.

I have taken 2 off and re-hired them before getting league 7, no achivement.
Then removed a dog while in league 7 = achivement.

i got this achievement before reaching league seven. actually i'm only up to league five and i got this achievement the first time i fired a dog.

i also didnt get it, im on league 7 and booted my 8th dog, if that helps

Haven't gotten to league 7 yet, but I did get rid of a dog thinking it'd get the achievement and didn't get it yet. ;; poor dog.

Ope, I stand corrected. I got the achievement when I dropped a dog on bill day. Instead of going to the errand screen, when you get the bill window there's a drop down to select dogs that you can give up in order to pay said bill. was league 6 when I got it.

I have also done this, but didn't get the achievement.

This worked for me, not sure how to get the achievement if this didn't work for you. I would recommend trying this method, and remove a dog you haven't put much effort into levelling up.

(shrug) - idk. I ended up using Steam Achievement Manager. Just because it seems like an extremely specific / unclear way to get an achievement.
