DP = Defense Points = defense against non-magic attacks
AP = Agility points = dodge and speed
LP = luck points = hit enemies with attacks that wouldn't normally hit them such as melee'ing airborne enemies
MA = magic attack strength
MD = magic defense

The Genesis and Dreamcast physical versions came with REALLY nice manuals. Would be awesome if someday the PS4 version got a limited physical release but i doubt it'll ever happen =(
