Crashing on load? This fix helped me

Like others here, I had experienced TTS crashing after loading. None of the options frequently found online and here in discussions helped. While I am not saying that these do not solve problems, my solution that fixed TTS to run was making the game run as administrator via the .exe properties and saying 'Run as Administrator'.

I had never previously needed to do this but this was the setting that let TTS run again for me.

These were the things I tried which failed to make TTS work, again your mileage and situations may vary but would recommend researching/trying these if admin privileges do not fix.

• changing windows defender settings
  
• launcher options
  
• reinstalling/deleting folders
  
• restarting PC
  
• fresh windows install (absolutely last resort)
