Can't unban friend

I am having [http://steamcommunity.com/app/286160/discussions/0/35221584621818255/]this problem[/url] and I can't find a resolution.
edit: also can't get above link to display properly.

Is removing your friend from the from the configuration menu -> block not working?

I was hosting a lan server and had several popups including a connection request from my friend, I pressed the deny button by accident.

Pressed the deny button are you talking about the tablet or can your friend not connect to you?

it is similar to the tablet deny button, I believe it only happens with lan servers
