Lua text goes white/scroll bars vanish.

Win 8.1 64bit, TTS v7.3

Thinking a couple problems I've been having are related to each other.
1. In the scripting window the side scroll bar sometimes doesn't show up. The only way to get the view to scroll over is guess a position and type anything then backspace.
2. All the lua script went white somehow, can't read anything. Can still blindly edit.

Restarted game/computer and text still appears white. Going to try a verify game cache, thought I had done so once but doesn't help to make sure.

The reason I think they are related is that I can inspect a card's generated lua to get the editor to open. The text will show for a split second then vanish. If the lua is large enough it can sometimes cause a horizontal scroll bar to appear. Using this scroll bar will make the text appear.

The current save I'm working on does not show any lua text within the game (over 700 lines). Can copy/paste to notepad to edit there then bring back in (I don't use the new external editor).

Seems to be some sort of character render limit?

Known issue use the atom plugin to have a much better editor.

so instead of fixing it, just use a different editor? just add this to the list of bugs still in the game

It's not as simple as fixing it because it's a UI limition. If you are doing large enough scripts to run into it you should be using an external editor with a much better feature set.
