Empty room and no table

Ok so, I have a friend that has a problem with the game (I personally have no problems at all).
He is using Windows 10, he updated his drivers.
When he tries to play, for example on single player, the table never appears.
And whatever he wants to make appear, like a dice or whatever, that does nothing, he can't use a table, he can't change the background, he is just in an empty room and can't do anything.
When he's on the tutorial mode, some piece pops up, fall and repops up and refalls infinitely.
What could be the problem ?

the solution in that case was to make sure Visual C++ 2010 was installed as well as Visual C++ 2012
