I have this problem as well with my DnD character sheet. Hoping there's a solution soon! :)
Same thing with my custom pathfinder rulebook and sheets
As of now the solution was to save the filled pdf sheet as an jpeg (Save as > JPEG > Configurations > (118,11 pixels/cm) and imported in TTS as a Custom Tile. It even has front/back this way. Its a kinda good alternative!
For the rulebook, i used acrobat's export pages option first to make mini-books, since the rulebook is too big for a single custom pdf, i made copies of the rulebook separated sessions i.e. Classes, races, equipment, talents, magic, magic items, etc. each into its own pdf, then i did the save as JPEG for each one and re-imported the pages into blank PDFs as images, then imported into TTS "Custom PDF" with very nice results.
Hope this will be useful until/if they fix the PDF text.
