PDFs not showing text
Hello, I decided to give the new PDF tile a try by importing a few of the PDFs that my group use for our RP games, however I ran into an issue where 2 out of the 3 PDFs I imported had no text, the images and graphical designs throughout the PDFs remained however.

I tried importing the PDFs multiple times across different games, I restarted tabletop simulator and I re-downloaded the PDFs but nothing worked. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this that would be very much appreciated, if not then hopefully this is something the devs can fix.

I have this problem as well with my DnD character sheet. Hoping there's a solution soon! :)

As of now the solution was to save the filled pdf sheet as an jpeg (Save as > JPEG > Configurations > (118,11 pixels/cm) and imported in TTS as a Custom Tile. It even has front/back this way. Its a kinda good alternative!

For the rulebook, i used acrobat's export pages option first to make mini-books, since the rulebook is too big for a single custom pdf, i made copies of the rulebook separated sessions i.e. Classes, races, equipment, talents, magic, magic items, etc. each into its own pdf, then i did the save as JPEG for each one and re-imported the pages into blank PDFs as images, then imported into TTS "Custom PDF" with very nice results.

Hope this will be useful until/if they fix the PDF text.

I found that, at least with D&D Beyond character sheet PDFs, if you print the pdf from Acrobat, then for Printer choose "PDF" and save it as a new file, it will open in Tabletop Simulator properly, with all of the text.
