Middle Mouse Button (Scroll Wheel click) no longer Zooming

For a couple weeks now*, my middle mouse button has stopped letting me zoom in or set the camera focus point, I have been forced to use the keyboard to move my field of view around the table.
Is this something that was changed in a recent update, or did I somehow hit some arcane combination of keys to disable this function?

*(we only game on Sundays, so its really only been 2 sessions)

You either have your camera set to top down, which you can easily set it back by right clicking an air. orrrr... your middle mouse is broken... orr.. maybe you accidentally changed your controls.

to chime in on this in my own reply for those in the future. the game has 3 camera modes. make sure you're on 3rd person mode to fix this

Not zooming for me with 3rd person mode either.
