Some Touch Controls Not Working

I installed TTS on my surface pro and I went through the tutorial to learn the basic touch controls.

Unfortunately I couldn't get past the 'closer look' portion of the tutorial.
The action was to quick tap an object to get a closer look but nothing happened when I would quicktap a card or die.
The pinch-to-zoom and 2finger move functions were a bit finicky as well. They would get mixed up and I would move when I tried to pinch-to-zoom and vice versa. It did not happen all the time, but with enough frequency.

Any help would be great!
