Scythe Manual

Not a bug per se but thjis seemed the best place to post it. The Scythe manual in the DLC still has the outdated way of using the mill. the tooltip i see was updated for the actual piece but it was confusing for me which one to use. I had to search around for the actual updated rules.
My concern is normally i would go by the rulebook that is there rather than a tool tip but in this case that would be the wrong thing to do.

Unfortunately, Stonemaier games have only supplied the one rule book for the base game to date so without recieving a newer second edition version There's not a great deal they can do about this one :(

Do you know if the retail game now contains this ammended version ?

They only have to get the PDF from the official site here https://stonemaiergames.com/games/scythe/rules-and-print-play/

They know about the change because they updated the tooltip for the mill object.

They know about the change because at the time Stonemaier passed on the infomation not the updated manual way back when the game was first launched, before the revised Manual was made and uploaded as a print and play.

If it had been known that a new updated manual had been created, it would have been requested and added during the last update to add in with the invaders from afar expansion.

Its not possible to simply add in a change to a DLC like this. without forcing every owner of TTS to re-download it so its unlikley to be added in any time some I'm afraid.

They can add it with any number of updates from here on.

They could... but as Ive explained they wont. Having every one re-dowload the game is resevered for situations where a major game buster has slipped through. For example the Recent Re-downloading of Xia Legends of a Drift System, Warfighter, and Scythe. that everyone had to do the other month due to a problem with the new Assetbundles and Mac Systems.

The fact Scythe has just recently gone though this makes it doubley unlikely this update to the rule book will happen any time soon.

Most likely it will be ammended the next time big changes are made to the way everyone currently recieves the DLC's or Scythe recieves another major upgrade . . . Which in both instances could be quite a while.

What Jim stated is exactly the case here. It's not a quick change when it comes to the DLCs unless it's just updating the .json. What we can do in the next update is add a link to the updated rules until the time comes that we do another major update to Scythe. Thanks.
