Newbie needs advice concerning stacking of cards
Hi all,
I got TTS 4 pack and gifted it around to some friends,
yesterday evening we have been together for some round of Monopoly but the experience of us did not match anything which could be read on this forum so I guess we made something wrong.

We fought the game engine - in fact the stacking of cards and money - more than we played the game.
The way we did try to stack cards and money was to pick up the card, rotate it to fetch the card below, then try to match the shadow of the upper card with the lower card and release the mouse button - this works like one out of 5 times.
Some cards and money could not be stacked by no one and we tried a lot. (yes, we tried to flipped the card and money on the right side before stacking and yes, the cards and money were stacked at the beginning of the game ^^)

Is there any hotkey to press if we want to stack to the highlighted stack below the cursor?
The exerience last evening was extremely boring and frustrating, to the issue that the cards didnt stack properly came the fact that if you move them to close to the board they suddenly turn around to fit the table boarders so we have to rotate them back or the fact that if you drag them to far to the players "hand" and you release them faster before the "hand area" appears you have to drag them back out of the players hand etc.

We also tried to work with the snapping grid but this didnt work also.

So, long things short, what did we miss? I hope to really have overseen some hotkey or feature because of this is far from fun right now :-(

For the cards/money that didn't stack at all, did you check to make sure that the decks you wanted to stack them onto weren't locked? If a deck is locked, you can pull cards off of it, but not put cards back onto it.

For the hands, you can turn off hands in host options for games that don't need it. Monopoly is one of the ones that probably doesn't need hands. That will help with the times you get items to close to the edge, and they want to be in your hand, even if you don't want them to be.

Great, thank you for the hands off advice!
Yes we made sure the stacks werent locked, very seldom the stacking even worked. But it required a good amount of tries.

In my experience the past day or so, you don't need to try and rotate it to match. You just hover it over the deck you want to put it into and drop it after a second or so. The card does have to be flipped to display the same side the deck is though (facedown to facedown) Never had a problem stacking decks

Sry for bumping an old thread, but I found this thread originally when searching for a solution, so thought I would paste what I've found in case it helps anyone...

EASY WAY TO STACK CARDS: Click and drag to select multiple cards, then press G to organise them into a stacked deck automatically.
