FPS Limit?
Anyone know how to limit the FPS for TTS? Even with the FPS cap enabled I push 400 FPS avg. I'm on an AMD system with a monitor with 240hz, and even the vsync setting isn't helping. Any help is appreciated! :SonicManiaSonic:

The "FPS Cap" option just limits it to your screen refresh rate (240), but if you have Fluid Motion Frames enabled in your AMD Software Manager, that'll try to double through frame generation. To framecap on AMD it requires disabling Radeon anti-lag, which really screws with frame buffer.

For an actual functional FPS cap, you need to go edit TTS's settings Graphics.json file (by default in Windows it'll be in user\Documents\My Games\Tabletop Simulator\).
Just open it in notepad, edit the "CustomCapFPSRate" value to 60 or whatever you like, then file>save it.

I have no idea why this isn't settable in the ingame GUI. People have been complaining about this for years, and now it's rare to even find a new display under 90Hz.

No idea, but I guess my question would be why do you want to push beyond your display's refresh rate? You're overworking your system for extra frames that won't be utilized. Vsync will sync your frame rate to your refresh rate, and lock it at 240hz. That is what I would recommend.

I think you're misunderstanding. Im trying to bring down the FPS to my monitor's refresh rate. Only solution I found is by playing in windowed mode. I hope this helps

That worked immediately after changing the CustomCapFPSRate then verifying integrity. You're the best
