Ok thanks for letting me know
This is a pure sandbox game, you'd need to program in the AI per board game. The beauty of this game is how little it does for you - you aren't restrained by some technicalities or rules.
The flipside is AI would be pretty nebulous/impossible to program for.
Did you see The Witcher Adventure Game?
I looks like a mod in the TableTop Simulator with AI.
so, The AI in Tabletop Simulator should work in the same way.
I made the mistake of buy the game thinking I'll be able to play against AI but realizing later that I can only play against other players and also that the game seems to have no restriction on what you can do with the pieces.
ill call hacks all day on windows chess but on tts its different.
It is also there to test and build mods.
Also there's the hotseat option that allows several people to play locally on the same computer.
And no, i am just a above avarage Computer user so of course there is a good chance that i am wrong about the simplicity of it.
And to correct this:
Without saying how, I'll just tell you that you can connect illegal and legal versions together as long as everyone connecting all have the same version of Tabletop SImulator and are on the same VPN.
The supported features and amount of code needed don't make it feasible. The simple stuff is already supported.
Not a good idea to admit to interacting with piracy.
