Some love for VR, please ?
As many others, i was very disappointed to see that VR was, yet again, left in its horrible unplayable state.

So i'm here just to voice my wish for this game to have a proper, usable, VR mode.

Edit : typo

This is why I backed AllOnBoard. VR would be killer, but they're just... ignoring it completely. It was passable when it was first added, and when VR was still in its infancy, but now it's outright painful to use.

No thanks, every minute spent on VR is a minute spent on not VR.

You have VR and want VR features.
I do not have VR and do not want VR features.

Same argument, two sides of the same coin.

So, you're not diabetic and don't want diabetic medication and don't want people with diabetes to have access to diabetic medication

Like why do you care if people get VR support just because you don't want it?

This product is such a consistent disappointment for anyone using VR.

If you want to play boardgames in VR, I'd recommend Tabletop Playground or any of the other VR-specific Tabletop projects that are in the works.

Tabletop Sim has made absolutely no improvement to their VR experience, made no acknowledgement of the existing issues and therefore have posted no plans to fix them. It's been this way for literally YEARS. This is after more than one community survey where plenty of feedback specific to these issues was submitted. To have them add Index support and completely ignore all the basic UX issues that already exist with the VR hardware they already "support".

Every updates, I read the patch note in hope for some improvement. Every time im disappoint. When I read they add index support, I thought "finally" ! They only added basic index binding, disappointed again. This game could be a top VR game with proper control and interface

Today, I just bought Tabletop Simulator,
and I'd like to know what exactly do you all mean by 'horrible uplayable state'?

Is it a state that you cannot create or participate in a session?
Or is it that you can participate but VR controllers are not easy to use?
Or there are crashes or other bugs while playing in VR?

Today when I launched in VR mode, directly from the Windows Steam app,
I couldn't create a session, and I couldn't search existing sessions, it gave me error.
I was unable to play anything.

Then, after launching SteamVR.
I selected Tabletop Simulator in the SteamVR home.
I noticed that it works fine.

However, I don't think the controls with VR controllers are very good.
I hope it will be improved.

By the way, my VR environment is Oculus Quest2 (Oculus link).

Basically that, the controls are horrible, and performance inconsistent.

Thanks Kalik, I understand.

Another TTS update, and the only VR-related item we get is support for Valve Index. Attention Valve Index owners, welcome to the club of controls that are so awful you won't even want to bother.
