Tabletop Simulator

Tabletop Simulator

Pathfinder Adventure + Giant Touch Screen
Last year I bought myself a Dell Touchscreen that is quite large and can lay flat on a table.

Using the touchscreen as a battle mat that sits in the center of the table, and Tabletop Simulator, players will use several camera angles to navigate whatever dungeon or landscape that their tokens are traversing. Touching and moving tokens and scrolling the map around using your finger is effortless and there is no risk of messing up the camera when doing so.

I will be using Pro Fantasy Campaign Cartographer to create the art and maps for dungeons, etc. I use Pro Fantasy to design the overhead maps, then import them into TSS as boards. Then I add props, tokens and walls.

I plan to create 3d walls as a shell around each of the interiors, but this proves difficult as getting walls to stick together and look good can be a tricky process... this is why I am not bothering to do the interior walls the same way... to save time.

During combat and exploration, I will have the camera locked in place directly over the playing board so that the players move their own characters individually simply by touching the screen and dragging.

My DM screen is my Ipad and an app called Combat Manager, which lets me manage combat rounds, stats, health of monsters, conditions, rules etc. In addition I am able to sync up all of the player's stats and health on paper with my ipad, and update those stats whenever the stats change (health, levels, items, etc)

Now that you know my plan, does anyone have suggestions for me? These can include player created objects, maps, etc.

Please also give advice, if you have it, on running the game using these modern tools.

Thank you! Your input is much appreciated.
