Miniature wargaming on TTS?

I've got a question. Is it possible to run any kind of tabletop minature wargames? Provided everyone knew and obeyed rules of course.

I know it may be a lot of trouble (rule sets, rolls, large amount of entities during game) - including legal ones (If anyone tried to do Warhammer then probably GW legal teams would just bomb steam and devs in no time).

However, this may be a great oppurtunity for tabletop gaming to move to online version (instead of spending tons tons tons of monies on GW products).

Hm. I didn't notice any line-of-sight or ruler tools, which woudl seem to be useful for that sort of thing.

I've made a mod (not yet public) which proxies the Battleground: Fantasy Warfare miniatures wargame. I have the developer's blessing to create the mod. It's a card-based game so the game's visuals aren't that impressive, but it plays just like a regiment-style miniatures wargame (IRL it's a MUCH lower price point than other miniatures games: ~$60 for an entire faction). Despite its age, it's still in the top 20 of Tom Vasel's favorite board games, and it's his favorite wargame.

The visuals I use in this mod are even less impressive :P, since I don't have the official card art. Someone else in the community is working with the developer to try to get the official assets and make the mod more visually appealing.
