Does this game have LAN play?

I'm just wanting to play with my sister who is on the same network, but using the "Join Game" or "Game invite" feature through steam makes the game lag REALLY bad, upwards towards 900+ ms. Question is, how do I go by creating a LAN server just for two players?

So is it now possible to play this via LAN with current version or not?

Last time I checked, there is no more LAN feature in the current version of TTS.
LAN is available in older versions which is why I described how to "downpatch" to get the last version that had the option for LAN multiplayer.
