How do I import models with Google Drive?
I have been trying to upload 3D models but I have found pastebin to be inadequate and have tried to use Google drive. But whenever try to upload it. Instead of a model it just gives Me.

Error Loading Model/Mesh, make sure you link directly to the RAW text or .Obj file.

Do You have any ideas?

In your google drive:

1) Right click the .obj.
2) Click 'Share'.
3) Click 'Advanced'.
4) Click 'Change'.
5) Select 'On - Public on the web'.
6) Click 'Save'.
7) In the share link it shows you, copy the long string of numbers and letters after /file/d/ and before /view.

In Tabletop Sim:
1) Spawn a custom model
2) In the URL field enter: "http://googledrive.com/host/" and paste the string you copied in previous steps after host/.

It still isn't working. Could I have done something wrong with the file? Anything that needs to be named specifically? It has .obj at the end.

And its supposed to pasted in Model/Mesh bar right?

Yes, in the model/mesh bar. I've used Google Drive for a while now for this and I haven't had any issues with it.

The resulting url should look something like:
http://googledrive.com/host/0B-hG9KzI3XJ8czJrQmRLMXQycTg/

I will re-export My model in blender, see if that helps.

Here is the URL I am writing out.

http://googledrive.com/host/0B-YXeJVnFFtLb2lKZF9rMnhjaEk/

Should I be using the TXT or the .obj?

Hmm, yeah I'm getting the same error on my side trying to import that URL.

It should just be an .obj file.

The model has color on it. Not texture but it is on the model itself. Could this be a problem?

I fixed it. for some reason the model I was using (It was downloaded off blendswap) was having issues with Tabletop Simulator. The best guess I have was that the file had layers, and Tabletop simulator doesn't know how to deal with those. Thank You for all the help!

Ah, cool. Glad it worked out. :andmyaxe:

If your model is too "long" for pastebin use Github paste. ;)
