Freezing every 3 minutes
I've looked for a few months to the solution to this and haven't found any recent updates on what causes the freeze that lasts for a few seconds but occurs every ~3 minutes. I have turned off autosave and rewind feature as well as uninstalled TTS and checked all drivers to be up to date.

Maybe you are running out of virtual memory.
When I was doing large pic file editing in Gimp my PC automatically made my virtual memory quite large to adjust to what i was doing.
I stopped the pic editing so Windows adjusted this virtual memory to be much smaller.
Maybe you have this problem.

It is an idea anyway.

I had this issue as well. Sadly my answer prolly isn't going to make you happy but adding another 16 gig of ram to my pc is what ended up fixing it.

I have 32gb of ram. You think it requires more than that?

It's still doing it even with nothing else running in the background. If there's something else I should be looking into I will gladly do it. This drives me crazy! Haha

Hmm not sure, I went from 16 to 32 and it cleared up. How much ram is being eaten up by your background processes? Do you have a lot of browser tabs open or a bunch of apps running in the background?
