Can't Connect to Multiplayer

I tried to connect to some friends on tabletop sim but it didn't put me in. Anyone know how to fix this?

Check your firewall if it blocking it, Check your modem if the portforward is open for it, and if those don't fix your problems then enable your DMZ on your moden for your PC. Don't ask me how to do it just google it that why we have it.

In case you're trying direct connect: My wife and I always play via direct connect using two Steam accounts and two copies of TTS. We found out yesterday that as of v1.8, direct connect seems to no longer work for us. Connecting via the server browser instead worked fine - and our config hasn't changed.

What happens is you can see the "choose your color" menu, but can't actually pick an option. Details here.

I have this problem but see no fix on the post you linked.
