As the name suggests, it is a tabletop simulator, so it simulates a table top on which you can play board games. Some of the mods do have some added assistance in the form of scripting, so buttons exist to set up the game for a regular start, to do certain functions like swapping hands with a certain player if a rule says so or things like that.
Beyond that, you need real people to play with if you want to play a complex game, especially an RPG.
About the basic features though, of course you should be able to zoom in either by scrolling your mouse wheel or by pressing and holding M for the magnification tool.
Yes I KNOW it's not an AI & I OWN the actual VTM Chapters game. You can play it solo.
But I don't see HOW on here? Where's the board pieces? Where's the character sheets & cards??
Like I said how do I START??
If your game needs resources you look on the workshop for them, if they're not on the workshop you use something similar but usable, and if that is not an option you make them yourself (which is fairly easy, you can make a character sheet as simple as uploading an image if you want).
For example here is a workshop mod that says it is VtM:C though I am not familiar with the game so have no idea if it is accurate.

There is a workshop mod that has the game assets mostly, it links back to the app which is not complete you would have to use your own books for it.
I backed on kickstarter have had it awhile literally sitting in box as no one really to play with.
I bought this as thought playing via tabletop simulator would be easier than hauling every thing out of the box just to play by myself but doesn't seem to be the case seeing as said I can't figure out what to do or how to start.
Cool thank 😁
Maybe you can help me figure out what am doing wrong then
